Safeguarding Statement

Important: Complete and approve a full safeguarding and child-protection policy before delivering tuition.

Numatrix is committed to providing a safe learning environment and acting in the best interests of children and young people. Concerns about a learner's welfare must be reported promptly through the designated safeguarding process.

Core commitments

These should include safer recruitment, appropriate DBS checks, staff training, clear reporting procedures, safe use of premises, professional boundaries, attendance records and emergency contacts.

Designated safeguarding lead

Add the name, role and contact details of your designated safeguarding lead and deputy.

Immediate danger

Where a child is at immediate risk, contact the emergency services and follow local safeguarding-partnership procedures.
